This first-time quizzer has worked very hard this year! They bring a positive attitude to every tournament. They have also completed all of their material, which is incredible as a first-year quizzer!
Beginner Quizzer of the Year Runner-Up | Chance Lopez
This quizzer is a team player and has good sportsmanship. They are quick to brush off mistakes at the board and move on. They enjoy getting to study God’s word and have a tender heart and a love for others.
Beginner Quizzer of the Year | Hudson Conner
This little quizzer received quite a few nominations, and we understood why! They have put forth a lot of effort at the board and also in study, as they learned all their material…as a 1st year quizzer! They seem to already have developed a love for quizzing and studying the word. We believe this quizzer will go very far in their quizzing journey!
Beginner Coach of the Year Runner-Up | Sis. Emily Conner
This individual has been around quizzing for a while! They were even a quizzer themselves. They are always happy to help out in any way needed. They have a great attitude no matter how the quiz plays out. Despite having many years of knowledge, they still remain humble and willing to learn.
Beginner Coach of the Year | Bro. Oscar Lopez
As a former quizzer themselves, this individual is now bringing their passion to coaching. They are knowledgeable, patient, and kind while still pushing their quizzers to do well. They took the initiative to also learn much of the material themselves!

This quizzer is hardworking, has great sportsmanship, and is kind. They have shown great growth this year, are willing to step out of their comfort zone and grow, and have even learned all their material this year!
Junior Quizzer of the Year | Buxton Allen
This quizzer has shown exceptional improvement this year. Although they have quizzed in the past, it seems like they are really excelling this year and growing in confidence. They always seem to be friendly with the other quizzers and involved in the tournament activities. They exhibit excellent sportsmanship, whether they win or lose.
Junior Coach of the Year Runner-Up | Bro. Derrick Buck
This coach has been a faithful coach over the years. They have helped develop strong quizzers and are very knowledgeable about the quizzing game. Over the last year, we have seen them grow in sportsmanship and working with others. They are a great asset to Arizona Bible Quizzing, and we are thankful to have them apart!

This coach is an absolute joy to be around and have in your session. They have shown incredible growth over the years and continue to be open to learning and further understanding the game. They have helped their quizzers continue to grow, and they have incredible sportsmanship. We are so thankful to have them as a continued part of Bible Quizzing in Arizona!

Rookie Intermediate Quizzer of the Year | Izaiah Brown
The focus and determination of this quizzer were so great to see! They consistently learned their material and grew in the game of quizzing as the year progressed. They were also kind and connected with other quizzers.
Intermediate Quizzer of the Year Runner-Up | Hosanna Brown
This quizzer not only succeeded themseleves but also wants others to succeed just as much. They were quick to connect with others and be encouraging. They showed excellent quizzing skills and learned all of their material. We believe this quizzer has a strong quizzing career ahead!
Intermediate Quizzer of the Year | River Steele
This quizzer has been around for a whilleeee. They always have a very positive spirit. They have excellent sportsmanship and consistently perform at a high level each year they quiz. They are a joy to have involved in the ministry, and we look forward to seeing how they continue to perform in their quizzing career.

This coach has a great spirit and attitude. They have shown growth as a coach over the past few years. They are always happy and eager to help. They are also leading their quizzers in a great way! We are thankful to have them as a part of AZBQ!

This individual has shown excellent control of material, incredible attitude and spirit, wins and loses with grace and has quizzed at a high level all year! They have always brought their best to the game and still seemed to have fun! One of their nominators gave a great compliment when they said, “I hope my own children quiz like them someday.”
Experienced Coach of the Year Runner-Up | Bro. Randy Wara
This was a first-year coach and they left an impression. They continually encouraged and motivated their quizzers to learn and master their material and to do their best. They traveled with the team to Extravaganza, providing steady leadership and support. Through creative incentives and their belief in each quizzer’s potential, they helped build their confidence and resilience. Their team won multiple hard-fought victories in close quizzes. We are grateful for their commitment and the lasting impact they have made on these young people.
